Sometimes I think about how we ended up discovering food and it's really wild if you let yourself play it all the way out. So many people must have died en route to various snacks.
It really blows my mind that someone was like “let’s drill into a tree and collect the wood-flavored water that drips out and then reduce it and reduce it and reduce it absolutely beyond belief until a gallon of tree water becomes a tablespoon of molten sugar, and then kids can put it on waffles.”
