I have this exact same thought. How many are projecting their fear of needles onto their children by refusing to vaccinate? It's gotta be part of it.
I think a good portion of the anti-vaxx thing is people ashamed to admit they are scared of needles.

One time someone was trying to pull the "the trans high schooler girl beat all the cis girls because she's a DUDE" argument with me. So I did some research. While she did in fact take first place in all the track meets she competed in, she didn't break any records.

Yes, I will block you if you're disingenuous and pretending to care about people that you don't really care about. Agreeing that we need a "cure" for autism while also using the R-word freely in your day to day tells me everything I need to know about how you really feel about disabled people.

Friendly reminder. Andrew Wakefield wasn't anti vaccine at all. The reason he even did his little study was so that he could get the current MMR vaccine off the market, and roll out his own patented Measles vaccine. So he lied about that study so that he could make money on a vaccine.1/

As a reminder. If you don't like your state's curriculum it's because your STATE chose it. We do not have a national curriculum. The funding for your schools is shit?? Take it up with your STATE. The DOE represents a smaller percentage of that money than your own state taxes do. 1/

I have never filed my taxes and gotten the approval letter so quickly in my entire adult life. Finished filing at 11pm, accepted at 6am the next morning for both federal and state. I feel like they're just smashing the approval button before muskrat screws it all up.
