Here I’m doing a live demonstration of what it’s like to live with POTS (or other forms of OI) using my Lumia. We look fine on the outside, but this is what’s happening inside. Remember blue is my HR and gray is blood flow to my head. Note: Lumia is not a medical device.

This study is Trash. Way too much spin by the lead author (and owner of product $$$) arbitrarily defining a cutoff and calling those super responders.
If Cort had looked at the actual data in Table 6 of the paper there is no difference in the actual raw data between control vs treated.

This study is Trash. Way too much spin by the lead author (and owner of product $$$) arbitrarily defining a cutoff and calling those super responders.

Actually Table 6 which used RAND36 showed no difference in energy or fatigue with Oxaloacetate vs placebo. Funny that's not mentioned in the abstract.

New RCT of oxaloacetate in ME/CFS at Bateman Horne was just published – it showed some positive effect on fatigue, but they used the Chalder Fatigue Scale. And it is still so expensive that I don't know if it's even worth trying.
