49ers and Swindon Town supporter. Engineer. #MEcfs has got in the way of having a life and doing much of anything really.

Housebound and mostly bed bound but longing to do so many things.
I've had similar problems before. Good quality breadboard is worth every penny. Good luck.

The chips look fairly clean. Hopefully the magic juice didn't affect them too bad. Well done!

What technique did you use? I see the lifted pad on C2 but not sure what's wrong on C8?

I used two soldering irons on mine which was a mistake. The most successful YouTube video replacements seem to be twisting them off first.

The rich get richer. There is so much corruption. Even poor little STFC I bet.

He fired all the independent inspector generals at each government organization. I expect a huuuuge round of layoffs to follow the blueprint of what happened at Twitter.

I was disgusted by the "enhanced responders" discussion where they manipulate the data to remove subjects that had no effect with Oxaloacetate or were worse off and compare to the placebo group. That's called heavily manipulating the data to get the outcome you want.

And mostly you continue to watch because this is the team you love and support through thick and thin. But boy, that was baaaad.

Can you give can example. The UK has many regional accents so I'm wondering if it is particular to one of them? The South West of England has more rrrrrr sounds.

This stood out to me in the article about NIAID.

"One funding opportunity (NOT-NS-24-105 ) provides large (ROI) grants and the other (NOT-NS-24-1 08) smaller (R21) exploratory grants. ...
Interestingly, the NIH’s immune institute (NIAID) is not partnering with NINDS on these awards."

There was some information here. They only funded one (Hanson) from the first RFA and then reissued the RFA which resulted in funding for the second (Lipkin).

I think it was mentioned briefly in the recent ME/CFS Alert, but I could be wrong. I recommend not watching.

Thank you. You write so well and the information comes across very clearly. I liked that you included info about the significant grants in other countries, not just by the NIH in the USA.

It seems that there is more emphasis on collaboration than in the past. Nice to see.
