Very astute observation EA. More live service games are clearly the solution. 🙄

#RoyalRumble No dirt sheet BS or anything like that but I have to ask. Just the perspective of a lifelong wrestling fan. How in the world is Cody supposed to be a good guy after seemingly murdering a man on live television and then taunting him as doctors and his best friend check on him?

Starting the day off with some horror movies and then gaming with the lady all day. I live for our weekends and cozy days.

I will be referring to the Nintendo Switch 2 as the Super Nintendo Switch. How did they miss such an easy basket with the name?

I'll never be shy about enjoying my time with the WWE 2K games. It takes me back to Revenge and WM 2000 on Nintendo 64. However I don't think I'll be buying 2K25 unless I see the server issues are solved. Every time I play this game I get an error or a complete crash.

I've realized I'm cool with reading just a few extreme horror novels a year. I enjoy the genre but it's just not something I want to overdo.

This all day every day.
Dear video game devs

We’re not interested in games looking “hyper-realistic”

We’re interested in them being fun to play, cheap enough to actually buy on a regular salary, and not so large that the console can only store 7 at a time

Thanks

First bulky read of the year and it was a damn good one. I finished Black River Orchard right at the end of 2024 and read Wanderers earlier in the year. He's become must read and I'm very excited for The Staircase in the Woods.

I should be playing Metaphor.

Instead I played TEW IX all weekend with bursts of The Crush House and Last Call BBS. Sometimes your brain just needs to occupy specific spaces and that's where mine needed to be.

Blindsided by a difficulty spike in Metaphor but this game has its hooks in me.

I don't think I'm prepared for the first Christmas without my mum. I keep waiting for the excitement I always get but I can tell the light is dimmer now without her.

Look. You can't deny that Dragonbreath Theme from Mouthwashing OST wouldn't slap as an old school sitcom opening theme.

I recommend no fewer than 4 copies of any beloved book. A paperback for traveling and lending to friends, an eBook for reading with greasy snack fingers, an audio book so you know how the characters' names are actually pronounced, and a pristine hardcover to be buried with you like a pharaoh

I don't care about the haters and complainers.

I'm very excited to hopefully have The Big Blue Boy Scout return to the big screen. There's enough dark superheroes. Give me the optimistic, dorky farm boy.

I'm reading Krampus by Brom and I really think Krampus would appreciate Lock, Shock and Barrels determination to kidnap the Sandy Claws.

I would be absolutely fine with this because as it stands now I'm absolutely awful at Mega Man games. No matter what I do, what other games I can conquer there is just a glitch in my brain that makes these unconquerable.
if there ever is a new initiative for Mega Man in the future, im ready for a soft reboot trilogy of 3D games. Hitoshi Ariga art style, maybe Vanquish style action movement and shooting, platforming, emphasis on boss battles, something like that

If you find a character attractive you do you. However basing your playing a game on whether or not you find a character attractive is a bit much and maybe hints at deeper issues.

As for me video game hotness peaked with these two. But I'm still going to play AC and Star Wars if the games look fun.

The only reason Satisfactory isn't my GOTY is because I put over 600 hours since 2019 and it wouldn't feel fair. Crazy thing is if you've played Satisfactory you know those are still rookie numbers.

I don't need a remaster of 6-10 year old games. What I need is unfettered access to the PS1 and PS2 era games without needing to resort to unseemly methods to obtain them.

What I'm saying is I'm currently playing Peter Jackson's King Kong and it's pretty great.

I would love to interact with more people who sincerely love video games. The ones that would rather lift up a good game than complain about them all the time.
