Sounds remarkably like Dominic Cummings

Morgan McSweeney has resigned

Labour lost its way some time around the dawn of complex society circa 4000 BCE

Voters: We want stability

Also voters: We just exist on a default setting of thinking the Prime Minister should resign

Much Ado About Nothing and Great Expectations were the only two pieces of literature that I had to study at school and didn’t come away absolutely hating

I flew into Schiphol in 2023 and Fiumicino in 2024. Wildly different experiences

At Schiphol the wait was 90 minutes. At Fiumicino there wasn’t one

Worst border wait time was 2 hours at Tokyo Narita but obviously that’s nothing to do with the EU

On the flip side the Leave campaign would 100% have painted that as “Europe trying to tell us what to do”

I recognise the face but the name escapes me completely

100% thought he was older than my father - who is 61

Personal prediction: McSweeney will be gone soon, probably within weeks, and Starmer will follow him after the locals

No idea who becomes Labour leader since it can’t be Andy Burnham (who would definitely have won any contest had he been able to stand)

Wythenshawe

Is … is that one? Did I do it?

My wife is from Hanmersmith

I’ve never stayed there longer than a week but that basically means I live there, right?

“He has a mildly successful podcast” is surely indefensible even by the current standards of the BBC
January 31, 2026 at 9:03 PM
I meant at least with Griffin they had the fig leaf of “He’s the leader of a party with elected representatives on councils and the European Parliament”. Here there’s literally no reason beyond “We thought he’d make good telly”

I mean I can’t remember the last time I didn’t just order on a QR code

Labour’s selection of a Greek candidate to contest the Gorton by-election really is bringing out all the racists

“Mr Simpson this is the most blatant case of false advertising since my suit against the film The Neverending Story”

Austria started World War One

Germany started World War Two (or Japan for our East Asian viewers)

Who will start World War Three?

“True Brexit has never been tried”
January 30, 2026 at 10:16 PM
“We published this poll about a major political event showing the result most likely to stir up media attention but we didn’t intend for it to be reported on”

Fucking bullshit

Axe Question Time, it serves no purpose

Nigel Farage once recorded a message for £87 celebrating the IRA

I can’t believe this doesn’t get talked about more
