I f'n hate how much longer (and more expensive) it is to do everything at work. I hate being paid to not work when I'd rather work. I hate that it now costs hundreds of dollars to purchase something that is only $5 retail. Is this really efficient?

Fun story. 11 yr old is sick. Not dying, but not well enough for school. Legal home alone age is 12. Last year, I'd WFH from my better-equipped home office. Win-win. Kid not alone, still able to be productive & paid to work. That RTO tRump pushed? Now I'm getting paid to clean my house.

$56,071. That's how much taxpayers are going to pay for ONE employee to do nothing from last week until the end of the FY thanks to the Musk/Trump regime. Instead of providing services to taxpayers, they will do nothing, still get paid, still accrue leave, and their lump sum will grow.
