as a therapist who takes covid precautions, i'm having a visceral reaction.......

it’s all anecdotal. i wish someone would do the research, but folks are so focused on the lockdowns and learning outcomes. it’s part of it but 2020 was traumatizing, no matter how you coped with it. a lot of folks haven’t worked through any of it.

before 2020? public schools were leaning into parent-pleasing but it’s now to a point where it seems the education system’s primary function is to avoid triggering/re-traumatizing parents at the cost of healthy collaboration for the sake of children
