Ken Paxton’s attorney for his impeachment trial is currently a TX representative, Mitch Little. i provided testimony against an anti-mask bill and he immediately started questioning me about why ANTIFA seems to be immunocompromised or care about transmission so just a heads up.

white folks on campuses— ask your friends or even strangers if they want/need an escort (esp. at night). and don’t be weird about it. respect a “no,” if you get it.

i was in college at the beginning of BLM (‘13) showing up and having “awkward” convos is part of the work. do it.

and it’s all AI generated bc you don’t have to find an artist that will co-sign your nazi propaganda. for me, nazis loving AI is another reason i will not use it.

my feed is now primarily discussing what “during covid” means, but in the most basic form of this convo: words have meaning.

you could say “i was in school during 2025,” but someone would go “so you mean this year…?” and then you’d have to clarify bc it’s still 2025.

we build our world w/ words!

there’s actually something called “disability affirmative therapy.” and of course there isn’t a TON of research, but there’s enough to show acceptance of disability leads to more therapeutic outcomes than CBT or trying to push through

god i looooooove when people have trivial/angry questions whenever i mention our covid-safer wedding. “oh, so it wasn’t fun and you didn’t serve dinner???” USE YOUR IMAGINATION PLEASE!!! it’s so clear folks believe taking precautions means you have to be joyless and boring and it’s SO SAD!
August 18, 2025 at 8:49 PM
i genuinely don’t know what any of these words mean but here’s alt-text because yay respirator representation!!
August 17, 2025 at 3:37 PM
with alt-text. but also “Fuck it, Beto 2028” cannot be beat.

took about 30 seconds to copy/paste the alt-text.

yeah, they ran experiments on how fast they could kill disabled folks/children years before this. that’s literally why alt-text is so important.

you exclude disabled folks from social media, that excludes them/us from information. you exclude them/us from information, why not daily life?

i made these to deal with the emotions i’m feeling in this moment, any dem/progressive who broke quorum in tx is free to use them without giving me credit.

part of the work should be imagining, in great detail, a world where such violence isn't the norm.

and part of the work should be processing the emotions that arise when we approach all of the above.

"come and take it" - TX Dems when Abb*ott threatened them for breaking quorum to block gerrymandering.

it's been an emotional time for texans. a lot is at stake, but, "what can i do when i feel like all of this is happening outside of my control?"

a thread for texan emotions

with level 10 chest pain being my Only Symptom, i’m gonna say it’s costochondritis &try to sleep.

i’ve always wanted that “feels like a heart attack” but is ultimately harmless & could last for weeks (/sarcasm).

my breathing is fine. my heart rate is typical for me. this is a wild sensation tho.

a friend of a friend shared their company’s response to them having covid rn and it included something about it “no longer being a pandemic.”

it is a pandemic. the emergency response ended (systems in place), not the pandemic itself (scientific definition).

my husband showed me your work when we began dating— huge fan so i’m reposting so that those who need alt-text can become huge fans, too

reposting with alt-text that lets folks with screen readers know it’s DANNY DEVITO who tweeted “Supreme Court my ass.” that’s vital context.

this episode aired in 2006. that’s almost 20 years ago. because science is good and reliable, actually.
