Only in America, the supposed home of free speech, can you call for the euthanasia of homeless people and have nothing happen but criticise Trump and comment on Kirk and be removed permanently from the air. The crackdown on opposition should worry us all.

When asked ‘how we can fix the country ‘ or ‘come back together ‘ Trump answered he ‘couldn’t care less’. That says it all and explains why the US is in such a mess and is going to implode.

Nothing patriotic about painting roundabouts and sticking up flags everywhere. It’s a racist movement trying to disguise itself in patriotism. These people do nothing to unite or improve the lives of people in this country. They are frauds.
NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before.

Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.

Fossil fuel companies donate $€£billions to politicians and in return get billions in subsidies from our money. Govts declare climate crisis a hoax and fossil fuel companies donate millions…see how it works?

Reform spout far right conspiracy theories about someone who pleaded guilty to a crime and their supporters lap it up. Just like Trump’s America, facts and law do not matter to Reform fundamentalists.
Lucy Connolly was convicted of inciting racial hatred, and her tweet was part of the tinder that lit violence, intimidation, looting, and thuggery across England last year.

The fact Reform conference gave her a standing ovation says everything about that movement.

The Martyrdom of Saint Lucy
The right is desperately seeking to make a martyr out of Lucy Connolly in order to distract from the real victims of the hate she helped to spread, argues Otto English

I’m no fan of Labour but Raynor’s resignation is a huge step up from the Tories’ behaviour under Johnson and every PM since. She broke the Ministerial Code and she’s resigned.

It’s astonishing to see so many people wringing their hands at Labour’s lurch to the right and their disappointment in their year in power. The centre fails to listen to those of us who knew this is who the party is under Starmer and they are part responsible for the rise of Reform.

It’s unacceptable that Coventry is planning on using Palantir for social care. The company that assists Israel commit genocide in Palestine and aid Trump is mass deportations should have no place in the UK.

I’m on a bit of a crusade at the quality and lack of availability of fresh vegetables in supermarkets. These are from #sainsburys. Not a one-off - the quality has been shocking for a long time. So, where is good to get fresh vegetables?

83% of people murdered in Gaza were civilians. Now tell me that is not a war crime and attempt at genocide.
August 21, 2025 at 4:18 PM
#sainsburys really? A few weeks ago this was £2.50 then £2.60 now look at the price. Is this so they can reduce it later and fool you into thinking you’re saving on it?

This is a regular occurrence now at Sainsbury’s. Even when there is veg, the quality is really bad. Anyone else noticed this in their supermarkets?

It really is beyond the ability of this country to run a train on time. And for the benefit of making you late they charge you some of the highest prices in Europe.
