On a tough day in Congress, loving this point of light! Messing up farmers is terrible for everyone, and going to court can still unlock solutions. Grateful to our courageous clients.

This afternoon, I accidentally over caffeinated on some homemade cold brew, then read a bunch of news. My nervous system didn’t regulate until I went on a run and chugged a huge cup of camomile tea. Feeling grateful for my two feet that can take me on a slow run. #running

When Amazon launched in 1995, there were 5,500 indie bookshops in the U.S., with 7,000 locations. By May of 2023, that number had decreased to 2,185 indies & 2,599 locations.

When you purchase audiobooks via Libro.fm vs. Audible, you directly support indie bookshops. Let's make that number grow ❤️

Clocking in to my state gov job over the last month has been a mind f*ck. The country is imploding, but at least I’m trying to build a wetland. Meanwhile, my federal colleagues are just as committed and qualified, but could be sacked at any moment. I’m not having fun, to say the least.

As the Texas outbreak grows, how contagious is measles, really?

The idea of a "carbon footprint" was literally invented by BP so you'd think about how *you* impact the environment and not how *they* impact the environment.

People know this, right?

Of course we should all work to minimize our impacts, but some perspective is useful here.
