what i like about walking sims is that it’s all about making a space compelling enough that it’s enough for a player to just BE in it rather than it being a space to DO something in… and that’s actually really hard to pull off.

It's hard to say what the best political strategy is. But one thing some Dem politicians are doing is definitely wrong: They are STILL on Twitter. Like what is wrong with you? Seriously?

it's a game which is about struggling to escape from a past where you [the character, the civilization in which you live] have failed, and it's your [singular, plural] fault, and you have to live with that anyway
I think what makes Disco Eleysium so noteworthy is that it’s the first game I played that really sought to forefront sadness as an emotion, rather than fear, adrenaline, etc. It’s a game about melancholy and hope.
