It is so frustrating to watch a press conference with the House Speaker. He contends there is no way he can access the contingency funds to allow for SNAP benefits to continue. Does he think we are blind, stupid and obviously? I see the President appropriate funds to bailout 🤷♀️

I am disgusted by Mike Johnson’s refusal to convene our congress and have serious negotiations to resolve this budget. He also needs to swear in the new representative for Arizona!!!
And can he consider doing his job and appropriate funds rather than give him carte blanche to tear down the WH.

I can’t believe MAGA supporters really want healthcare premiums to skyrocket, for neighbors to loose their healthcare or for them to be laid off due to the government shutdown. I generally don’t watch a press conference held by this president but does it bother anyone else about how he describes out beautiful countries and great cities. Our Nations capital is such a beautiful and inspirational place, he ripped it to shreds. Now he’s killing our tourism. What sector is next

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.
