i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

What's wild about Dispatch is that it's an FMV game, but it's animated in a style to make it look like real-time graphics. Most people wouldn't notice that the only 3D thing in the game that isn't a pre-rendered video is the hacking minigame.
