For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

Otrinne is a tailor! She makes all her own clothes and runs an atelier focused on gender-affirming clothing & lingerie (and is able to run it largely it on a pay-what-you-can scale, thanks to the fortune she inherited from her ex-wife).

You know, as someone who went to art school because they had loads of ideas and lacked the skill to execute them,I was endlessly frustrated at how much class time was spent teaching us how to have ideas.I'm now starting to realize maybe some people *do* need to be taught this.

There is legitimately no good reason for a studio, especially one that has built up such good will like Owlcat with the Pathfinder and WH40K games, to use gen AI for the conceptualizing stage. The whole point of concept art is to collect and take inspiration from materials from the world around you.
From 2024. Apparently missed that the first time around. This just destroys my hype for Dark Heresy. If Rogue Trader was made without AI “helping” the concept art phase, there is zero reason to push it on to Dark Heresy development. I am gutted.
