Tanya Fir: so competent, she’s incapable of hanging up the phone before shit-talking constituents.

Your government in action, folks.

(I love that they imply that nobody who votes UPC would disagree with their use of the notwithstanding clause.)
Wherein Tanya Fir refers to the next caller on her “callback list” as the “next motherfucker"...

Not knowing that next person was a journalist.

After she failed to hang up the phone properly.

Just the most competent government ever.

Premier Wab Kinew and I want to see the Port of Churchill expansion project built — fast. Today in Winnipeg, I announced new funding to help get the project operationalised.

Canada has an abundance of resources, and this port expansion will mean we can ship more to the world.

The American people deserve answers, and it’s time for the DOJ and FBI to provide them.

While we appreciate that the Epstein estate has been transparent, it’s time for the Administration to do their part.

No there isn’t. A kid is still a kid. I’ve seen 15 year olds trick or treating…playing with make up…just trying to figure out who they are in this world. They are NOT adults, and their brains are not done developing. They raped these children. Period.

If I were @schumer.senate.gov, I would not agree to help Republicans fund this regime on the "promise" of an ACA vote at a later date. It didn't work the last time when they promised to fund DC. It won't work this time either. The House won't touch it.

The 8 Dems who voted against ACA are embracing eugenics.

This decision will disproportionately harm disabled people.

Many Disabled people have pre existing conditions & won’t be able to afford insurance.

Many live in legislated poverty.

Guess we aren’t dying fast enough for them

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

This is disability visibility.

Mamdani listened. He didn’t pander or talk over the disabled journalist.

He acknowledged his concerns and gave real responses about how he plans to fix them.

1 in 4 Americans has a disability, it’s a huge number of voters.

Don’t ignore us!

A couple weeks ago a friend was telling me about someone she knew who had been on maternity leave, and said she had taken "the full year." I said, "A whole year? Wow, what kind of fancy job does she have that gives her a YEAR of leave?" and my friend looked surprised & said, "... welcome to Canada?"

Love this. Inspired.
The majority of Americans are good. We have heart. We have compassion. When we see others struggle, we want to lend a hand.

For too long, we’ve been divided and pitted against each other by those who crave obscene wealth and power.

Let’s change that. One election at a time.
