Using teargas against protesters just because. There was a Halloween parade scheduled so kids in costumes were on the street. One fella is going to sue and there is plenty of video.

But how do you keep the pound of glitter off the innocent bystanders? Is this gonna be deemed “assaulting an officer” & another reason to be arrested for felony?
ICE agents are complaining that every time they go out wearing masks in unmarked cars with no uniforms or identification as law enforcement to abduct people, protesters keep dumping pounds of glitter on them so that everyone can tell they're ICE for days afterwards.

I had mistakenly once said that Trump was gaining control by suppressing the media. I was quickly corrected and advised that it's not suppressing the media, but controlling the content and shaping the message that gives him power and acceptance. I now understand the difference and stand corrected.

ITA. But kind of feel like I’m telling it to an echo chamber. I try to put myself in “their” shoes to see what they are thinking, but I really can’t. & I’m typically an empathetic person. I keep getting back to “systemic & inherent racism.” Current events might have even been revealing to them!

How do Trump voters justify this? They justify everything that’s happening. That’s how they live with it. I personally know some but can’t have civil conversations with them. Those that can, how do they justify this? In what world is this ok?
