Not to be alarmist, but please be prepared for many gov services to vanish or be horribly downgraded in the months to come. While continuing to push national and local electeds to hold the line, think about non-gov groups that are supporting folks in your community and consider how to support them.

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

It’s New Year’s Eve and almost the entire island of Puerto Rico has been plunged into a blackout.
Inexcusably the power grid has still not recovered from damage in Hurricane Maria. This is 3.5M American citizens. We owe them so much better. Mandándoles mucho apoya desde acá.

I’m making a bunch of NYE resolutions and I can’t really figure out what I want to do. More reading and I want my motorcycle license but not too sure what other exciting thing I want to add. I felt like I had many ideas and never wrote them down so now I don’t know 😅

I had the opportunity to see Sing Sing months ago in theaters and I wish I had that chance again. It was so good. All those men deserve their flowers. They were amazing!
