Checking out Tower Dungeon 3. You're kidding me! Hahaa! One day I'm writing that essay about how all of Nihei's works are connected. I know he's said himself they're not but I've never seen anyone else pepper their work with so many self referential things. It's why I'm reading this.

I would like to get back to the place where I can take in good stuff, inspiring art, decent literature and then come the day after use that feeling to make something of my own. I don't think I have any dreams any more beyond wanting to be in the creative zone on a regular basis

I'd like to see this happening. Machine learning is actually very useful, my uni's lab made a tool to vastly improve the diagnosis of skin cancer. LLMs barely existed at that point beyond chatbots you could get to swear at you and well have we really progressed there
Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪

I won't watch the Earthspark specials but they're certainly piquing interest with Liege Maximo, Scorponok, Octopunch and Hot Rod and to a much lesser extent Mirage. What da heck does Maximo even turn into and will they bother to show you

Tell you what I'd truck with is a large scale fully featured version of the main Cyberworld Optimus. He's so designed to be a big chunky boy. Stick some lights in and there'd be room to motorise his back wheels

Watched the last Once Upon A Time In Space and became incredibly sad. The space shuttle was the most beautiful thing ever made. An ideal which ended. But I still got to grow up in a world where space was international and it hadn't even hit me that ideal had ended too.
