Damn. I'm actually quite happy with that. I wouldn't have thought I could pull off a Thorkell. Guess watching Vinland Saga at 32 was the right time.

I don't want to be down on this toy! It is very nice. It's just that it hasn't got the real wow factor I expected from something with the Masterpiece name on it. And that should maybe be expected because it represents a new (cheaper?) direction. At least I feel OK not having MP10 now.

Sadly, I'm not going to beat around the bush, the 86 has nicer plastic. MPG is mostly the same kind of harsh sharp polymer (breakdown on the box shown) that I'd associate with cheaper toys. 86 OP is dense and buttery. MPG is noisy and it's not just the ratchets.

A good comic Thor is the last Marvel Legend I really need and while I'm OK with the Coipel look I really want a Kirby one. Dunno

We're apparently imminently due a look at 86 Wheeljack and Shockwave, two if done right, are must haves for me. But even with the best possible outcome for WJ he still won't have all the rally livery so I'm forced to reassess Earthrise as the only modern one to look how I'd want. He's just so flat

Not sure I got anything out of the Fallout finale. Not when I got so much out of this season's first episode. I guess nothing was going to match the high of Big Iron. No Johnny Guitar.

I don't think I'm a cat or dog person but I met my friends doggy today and it's like I know how to greet a cat or direct attention towards it without touching it but i don't for this boggy this young man

Does anyone else know what I mean when chrome on a figure without any diecast can seem tacky? Like it's absolutely a premium touch these days but one without the other doesn't quite work somehow. This toy is all plastic, and lots of it unpainted to mitigate scratches but it leaves it feeling cheap

Can't wait to get some creator comments on Style Gen Optimus because there's some weird stuff here like how the back of his waist is cleverly formed by panels of the truck but leave it grey, covering up silver paint

Oh well there we go. I made the right choice but actually temporally separating them like this isn't fair if you wanted this from the get go but already ordered the other one.
Transformers Missing Link Grimlock (Animation Version), preorder open next week.
