If Biggles was American there'd be a dozen movies, TV series etc. much as I love Adventures In Time, I'd love a proper go at it. The WW1 era books are basically short stories and would work great as a series

All of the WWI aviation in this film is entirely correct, especially the bit where Biggles can fly a helicopter.
