March for Palestine rally over Brisbane's Victoria Bridge is absolutely huge. Thank you to all Australians in Brisbane & around the country marching today against Israel’s genocide. Anyone not standing with Palestine at this point in time is clearly on the fringe. #FreePalestine

Recognition of Palestine MUST be combined with actions to stop the genocide.

With the deliberate assassination overnight of Al-Jazeera journalists and plans to permanently occupy Gaza, the Australian government must take meaningful action and suspend military contracts with Israel!

Last week we learned the Great Barrier Reef has suffered some of the worst bleaching in history

This week, Ningaloo, another 🇦🇺 icon is experiencing catastrophic coral loss

These are national treasures. We must take strong action on climate to save them.

If genocide isn't your redline, then you have no redlines.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge was closed temporarily as tens of thousands of Australians made their voices heard against Israel's genocide in Gaza. #FreePalestine #3E

Well done Sydney! Thank you to everyone who stood up in the rain because our spineless politicians can't even speak out against genocide and starving children.
It is massive. Thanks to Peter Deppeler on Twitter for the footage. #GazaGenocide #MarchForHumanity

Thank you Sydney.
Police estimate 100,000 in Sydney ...how fantastic is that? In pouring, winter rain Aussies turned up. It's way over time that our politicians listened to the people and not to the lobbyists and propagandists that is Israel.

3. I'm constantly struck by the extent to which people take their freedoms for granted - the freedom of speech, the freedom to vote, workers' rights, weekends, holidays, pensions ... - as if they simply fell out of the sky.
They were achieved at great cost by our political ancestors.

People with such terminal politics brain that they judge everything not on the issues but on how it benefits their party can’t see condemning a genocide as something people might actually do because they believe genocide is wrong.

This is how authoritarian regimes test the waters. The first disappearance is a warning. If no one fights back, the next one comes easier. And the one after that. Until fear replaces resistance.

Now, imagine this happening to you. Would anyone fight for you?

Last year, the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology introduced the 'Infuuts', a special bike for children attached to tubes and IVs.

Due to all reactions the bicycle is now produced on a larger scale for use by other hospitals at home and abroad.

Wynnum, Manly, Lota foreshores: Shared path (Moreton Bay Cycleway) is often too crowded to ride a bike without feeling anti-social, but the adjacent road is full of impatient drivers, and much of the public space is taken up by car-parking.
