There are reasons I’m still Catholic. Pope Francis is one of them. He wrote a sweeping letter to the U.S. bishops decrying "major crisis" triggered by Trump's mass deportation plans & explicitly rejecting Vance's attempts to use Catholic theology to justify the Trump regime immigration crackdown.

Democracy depends in part on people who refuse to comply with unlawful (and/or unethical) orders.
