It's ok to disagree on the role of gov't. It's not ok to be a pr*#k about it.
Very well explained.
When vaccine rates drop, outbreaks rise – not just because of misinformation, but because of how people weigh personal vs. collective risk.

Game theory explains why these rational choices can lead to public #health failure.

Game theory explains why reasonable parents make vaccine choices that fuel outbreaks
Vaccine hesitancy isn’t a moral failure – it’s a property of a system in which people must balance personal and collective interests.

Trump's ambassador to Canada has a long and dark history of disinformation and interference in the politics of other countries.
So when he tells Canada to "get over it" regarding Trump's threat to our nation, don't believe him.

Well well well - 2024 Parliamentary Spending - and guess who spent the most, it was not the Prime Minister of the country. #FiscalConservativeMyAss #Canada

Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre was top amongst them, with $8.8M in total spending, including $7.4M for staff salaries. /1 #Thread

This seems to be the current Conservative way. #Cdnmedia
Right. He doesn't lie to be believed. He lies to be repeated.
This, except for the part where when he says something, he then believes it.

He’s a salesman whose speech is 99% instrumental.

Morals, facts, truth, belief have nothing to do with it.

When Robert Fife publicly acknowledges that people think you're a dick, it's time to resign.

Plus, this makes zero sense for the CPC. The party has already acknowledged he was a liability in the campaign, so why encourage him to stay on?
My only guess/hope is that we need to have patience and let this play out. We've only just held the election.
I don’t have an answer, but I’m not going to begrudge people - especially groups who he’s dog whistled against - for feeling no compassion for the man, and for wanting not to see him continue to fail upward just so he can kick us in the teeth while we pat ourselves on the back for being polite.

Dear #Ontario
If you voted Conservative for "change" in this election, then why the hell did you vote Conservative in the provincial election and effectively condemn us to 11 FUCKING YEARS of a Doug Ford majority?

Is that severance correct?
If so, that's a good question for @davidwcochrane.bsky.social to ask #cdnmedia
MPs who lose their seat in an election receive 50% of their annual salary in severance pay and I’d love to hear someone in the media ask Pierre if he’s cashing that cheque before he tries to win another seat but now I’m being ridiculous because we all know Pierre will not be taking media questions.

#PierrePoilievre billed taxpayers $7.3 MILLION for 12 months of nonstop campaigning for himself BEFORE the writ was dropped. That’s not including his taxpayer funded mansion, chauffeur, chef & housekeepers. He’s the most expensive opposition leader in 🇨🇦’s history. In addition to untold dark money.
