My question is, how are these platforms not responsible for the information they share - they are not search engines or social platforms - as grok demonstrated, the outputs can 100% be controlled by their creators… if people and publishers can be held accountable for lies, so too should AI companies
It’s a hard pill to swallow but people really do trust ChatGPT as a definitive source of authority. Not everyone. But enough that this week I saw a ChatGPT quote on a subway ad and a salesperson told someone next to me they could ask ChatGPT their question and get the same answer
