Okay so every summer I do something I call Summer of Horror, where I watch horror films all summer.
Like I watch horror movies all year, but in summer I like to give it a Special Name. And when people ask if I have plans, I'm like 'yes, it's Summer of Horror tonight'.

I don't know how 'normal' people feel about this, but if a book has an AI cover, then there's absolutely NO chance in hell that I'm reading it.

This is why I love the hardboiled structure so much - it never feels like a whodunnit.
Instead it's like you're entering this murky, inexplicable world, trying to make some meaning of it all.
