AI coding makes you think it's way better than it is, because it can stand up kinda working hobby examples or demos really fast, but the step from 90% working to production software you can actually ship and support is a vast abyss. Completely insurmountable for the current gen ai.

Many folks think my standards are too high, and that I'm too strict about this. To which I say this ain't the ceiling, it's the floor!
This is the bare minimum, the compromise position. My real standards go way higher, but I'm meeting folks in the middle. I could be way more about this though
