Houses stand where our crooked orchard once breathed. At night the #ghost trees return, pressing through floorboards, hanging small red apples in the dark. Their sharp-sweet scent wakes the tongue; yellow flesh remembers every vanished hand. By morning, bloated brown fruit sours the rooms.

I've always had this #thrumming in my ears.
Most of the time it's barely noticeable, but sometimes it drowns out everything else, causing me excruciating #pain.
I don't know why this happens or how my #shadow reaches out to others in these moments, leaving them... Changed.
#Soulless.

The need for practice drawings to look "good" is what keeps most artists from practicing at all.
Experiment. Try different approaches. Embrace the bad. It's supposed to be messy and unknown.

The old beggar I always toss some coins has been in an exceptional mood recently.

His skates slipped on the ice and he tried to regain his balance with his arms flailing wildly to no avail.
Someone caught him before he could hit the ground though.
"Woah, careful there."
He blushed and almost fell again when he saw the man still steadying him smile and give him a wink.

At first everybody was relieved their incessant cawing no longer kept them awake at night.

Working in ink only is bloody terrifying but also very rewarding.
Is it perfect? Nope.
But without being able to correct I had to commit to my lines and accept the imperfections.
