Could someone place an order for 100 more Jasmine Crocketts for overnight delivery to the Democratic Party

thx in advance
Crockett: "It's just that they're idiots. These are the same guys as it relates to our nuclear stockpile, they're like, 'Oh, wait a minute, we needed those guys? Can we get them back? Oh, we don't know how to.' I don't know how anyone can look at this administration & feel a semblance of confidence"

Seriously, they are doing this. And it sounds like the Trump administration supports it.

Here is the ad the Washington Post refused to run about Elon Musk this weekend.

And here is the ad the Post was happy to run by a rightwing group funded by Musk that smeared me in October.

We need to make #CourageIsContagious a trending hashtag and amplify these acts of integrity, bravery, and fidelity to the rule of law. Thank you, SDNY attorneys, for leading by example
“I expect you will eventually find someone who is enough of a fool, or enough of a coward, to file your motion. But it was never going to be me.”

Agreed.

Perhaps history has always been moved by narcissists and mental illness of a few, and then folks being too busy with everyday life to stop it.

It is definitely happening now, and it is painful to be living it and trying to fight it

This is one of the more frightening things to happen yet.

If journalists and public press gives in to this sort of thing, then the trend will continue and we are cooked.

If they ALL do not "align" we may have a chance.
"Today we were informed by the White House that if AP did not align its editorial standards with President Donald Trump’s executive order renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, AP would be barred from accessing an event in the Oval Office."

completely agree
my view is that as soon as the administration froze disbursement of congressional appropriations we entered constitutional crisis territory

The level of ignorance this shows is just stunning

The fact that he doesn’t know what NOT to say to NOT show his ignorance is very telling

These last few weeks have been sheer torture for us in tech and biz tech.

The enormity of danger in what they are doing to the systems cannot be explained
not a new observation but Elon Musk genuinely isn't very bright, genuinely has no idea how most things work, and his entire supergenius engineer persona is a tech press-enabled mythology (they've never been held accountable for)

Make no mistake, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are destroying the credibility of the Department of Justice by sending its lawyers into court to make absurd legal arguments and repeated factual misrepresentations.

This will not end well.

in what meaningful way can we say that the constitution is in effect when an unelected and unaccountable billionaire is wielding state power to unilaterally cancel congressional appropriations?
Hearing that DOGE went into the Dept of Education today and shut down almost the entirety of the department's in-house research arm, Institute of Educational Sciences, cancelling contracts totally about $900m.

absolutely.

this has been one of the hardest facts to digest these past 9 years or so.

i now feel amazed we have a civilization of any kind
Our nation has an alarming amount of childlike adults.
ABC is platforming total ignoramus Trump supporters who can't even justify their own voting decisions

This absolutely sucks, this new reality.

and these death threats are NOT going away

Do we (non threatening people) now no longer have any representation?

Not sure what to ask of my rep in terms of rising above the threats, I am not in their shoes.
Spending some time considering the mettle of your average senator versus, say, Anita Hill and Christine Blasey Ford.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.
