Songwriter. Vocalist. Mandolin player. Former republican.
I sometimes write with Microsoft Copilot on. If it suggests a phrase that I was already going to write, I write something different. If you are being so predictable that a machine could write it, then no one is going to read it.

A great legal scholar, big scholar, powerful scholar, tears in his eyes said, "Sir..."
Aa handful of complicit sycophants does not count as "many great legal scholars." Also, they urged people to disobey illegal orders, which is part of their training and required by law.

"How could you possibly meet with that man?" ask the people who elected him president. What? You didn't vote for him? Well, somebody did, or failed to vote against him. A lot of somebodies did. Maybe you should complain to them, because I don't have an alternate president to deal with, just him.

The Senate tried to pass a bill giving several of its most criminal member one million dollars, each, but the House said, "No, fuck that."
Then the House passed the Trump/Epstein bill almost unanimously with the understanding that the Senate would poison it with some loophole. But: "No, fuck that."

"Ask him [Steve Bannon] if [Vladimir] Putin has the photos of [Donald] Trump blowing Bubba [Saulsbury]"

And Jeffrey's reply:
"And I thought I had tsuris [troubles]"

Young Gas refused the bribe and identified the person who offered him £200 to throw the fight as a "muffin-baker". He also identified the "gentlemen" who used the muffin-baker as a go between, but they denied involvement claiming they did not have "the slightest knowledge of the muffin-man".

Jeanine Pirro complained that she had worked hard for President Trump while pretending to be a neutral voice on Fox News, but Trump was slow in rewarding her with a pardon for her criminal husband.

You have the right and the duty as a jury member to nullify her attempts at prosecutorial over-reach.

In order to get useful results from ChatGPT, you have to write a good prompt. If you can do that, then you don't need ChatGPT.

Corrolary: one day, writing AI prompts will be considered highly skilled work.
I've never once looked at ChatGPT because I can come up with words myself out of my own brain.
Never have. Never will. Not interested in going anywhere *near* a crap app built out of countless millions of hard-won words stolen from my colleagues, the use of which will (bonus!) begin progressively to degrade my cognitive skills and blunt the edge of the tool I’ve spent half a century honing. 🤨

They lost this much on less than one million of revenue, and they will probably never grow bigger than they are right now. Devin Nunes could have been Speaker of the House but instead opted for a chance to suck on Trump's teat: last year he earned $47 million as CEO.
This is acting like a pure money laundering operation. They reported losing another $54 million last quarter. It has never made money. Investor money is just flying out the back door faster than in comes in to enrich a lot of shysters and grifters.

Fascism was born out of a reaction to laissez-faire capitalism, but Squid Games highlights a new philosophy wherein very rich people get to celebrate liberty, while everyone else gets to be their slaves. Actually this is called feudalism and Karl Marx and Adam Smith both deplored it. MAGA, I guess.
This person at Mar-a-Lago is dressed up as a VIP from Squid Games. You can’t make this up.

I understand that Alabama is going to elect Republican senators, but why do they always seem to pick the stupidest possible options? Tommy Tuberville is always the Stupidest Man in any Room.
Tuberville: “We just saw what happened in NY. We lost NY. It will be completely Muslim in 3-4 years. That’s what they want. And it’s going to spread throughout the country.”

Some wit said they'd spent more time mourning the loss of a discontinued Trader Joe's product than Erika Kirk did the loss of her husband. They were referring to her sharing a couch with JD Vance, but this video speaks loudly, as well.

This is an example of why I have always said, "Nobody does business with Donald Trump twice."

Then I read Art of the Deal and I realized that this was still a good general rule but it did not apply to stupid people.

And then America re-elected him.

Trump’s ingenious plan to make things more affordable for us is to slap tariffs on a large percentage of things we buy each month, while deporting a big chunk of the labor pool that produces our food supply.

We really don’t appreciate this man enough.
