Songwriter. Vocalist. Mandolin player. Former republican.
Ringo could certainly swing, which is surprisingly hard for many rock drummers. McCartney once said he was occasionally unable to explain something sufficiently well for Starr to play it, and so Ringo would just tell Paul to play it for the record, for expediency, I assume, absent touring.

I'm imagining trying to cast an ugly actress in the studio system of the time.

I knew a lad who spent his infancy in a Vietnamese orphanage; the back of his head was flat from lying in a cradle. Cranial modification can happen accidentally, with swaddling boards, for example, but can become a local style when they intentionally bind your head.

This one's an imitator:

It has become very important in Japan because of their long-standing demographic collapse.

No one has reported seeing him in 15 years. Still alive?

I am not familiar with this use of the en-dash. I've only used it to replace "to" or "through" in a range of values. Is there a name for this use? I would have considered it a compound word turning a proper noun into an adjective.

I like to read the notes after I finish the page, so I prefer them right there. Even if I don't need them it forces me to go back to the spot and think about them in context.

Reading end notes is a nightmare of page-flipping.

Wait, what?

I don't really follow Uygur, who sounded "reasonable" the few times I did, but Owens is demonstrably mentally ill and thinks that Frenchmen are plotting to assassinate her for uncovering the truth about her insane delusions.

She's having a psychotic episisode live, on television.
