Far right govt likely in Germany in early 2025. France potentially about to follow them. Trump presidency to be confirmed in January and day by day, Farage seems to grow more popular and more accepted by the UK electorate.
I'm so scared of what the next decade will bring for progressive politics.

I get the political calculation here. I'm just gonna point out that the predominance of research into European parties' efforts to outflank the far right like this has found that they merely legitimised the far right's political framing and led voters to opt for the "full fat" version.

Seeing West Ham win makes me all the more grateful the club sacked Cooper when they did. As I have no doubt Lopetegui would be gone if WHU had lost tonight. Which would mean us and WHU would be fishing in the same pond for our next manager.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

Folks, don't panic over any Bluesky hiccups that are occurring. They have TWENTY full time employees. That's it! It's growing, they're doing great keeping up with the increased traffic, and they deserve a break. It's been a good ride here thus far, hiccups included. Enjoy the ride, bumpy or not.
