It was a BS gun possession case that ordinarily would have never been tried but it was Hunter Biden and MAGA was fixated on him to distract from Trump’s numerous crimes. No violence. No assault. No insurrection. Glad Biden pardoned him.

The Founders put ‘advice and consent’ in the Constitution for a reason. They wanted Senators to have oversight over Cabinet picks of a President to ensure that they were properly vetted. Winning an election 49.89%-48.24 doesn’t dispense with that constitutional responsibility.
