Probably the biggest, most recent is that Texas worked to extend the Battle of Huntington in order to weaken Oklahoma and New Mexico's expeditionary forces ahead of the Bowie in the Back incident.

That said, 90% of rightwing male chauvinism boils down to "I am so violently insecure that I must compete and show dominance at all times and no one is allowed to be different from me and also I can't enjoy anything because enjoying things is gay."
