I think once people stop waiting for one person or one big galvanizing moment to "save us" and realize this is gonna take a lot of work from a lot of people for a long time we will maybe get somewhere.

The Montgomery Bus Boycott lasted 381 days.

Most of us can't even come together for 381 hours.

"I am not my ancestors." You sure the hell aren't!

Weak, compromised by white supremacy, easily distracted tapdancers the ancestors WERE NOT!

More than 100 years after its initial review that blamed Black men, the Dept. of Justice just released its report on the 1921 Tulsa race massacre

We are living in a very openly racist mean-spirited era. How will we navigate it?
Once again, this is a neo-segregationist movement.
“Meta’s makeover continued when the company told employees it would end its work on DEI. It eliminated its chief diversity officer role, ended its diversity hiring goals […], and said it would no longer prioritize minority-owned businesses when hiring vendors.”

Believe it or not as much as kids like electronics they don’t enjoy robot dolls for long. They lose their attention quickly.
Here's a guy crying about how his daughter keeps turning the AI off on the AI doll he bought her and playing with it like a regular doll and her imagination.

I lived in a town with a Butterball factory. I saw raids in the 90s with Feds coming in and leaving town with van loads of undocumented workers.

You know what I never saw? The Feds arresting the folks who hired undocumented workers…

I teach about the inspiring Eugene Bullard, the racism he overcame, his bravery in WWI -but never in such a meaningful and stunning way as this very human story! I need a class set! You know how many graphic novels I read and review - this is one of my all-time favorites! So powerful!

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

Thank you! Even when they lose you don’t see headlines like “Where did Rs go wrong?” “How can they reach the people?” It’s weird.
The question in my mind isn’t “how did Democrats lose the working class” but “Why have Republicans evaded all responsibility for their role in producing the status quo?” and the answer is tied up in questions of culture and status.

As ever, the loss of something good and useful for Americans is framed as a loss for Democrats — in the mass media, everything becomes just a political football to be kicked back and forth instead of examined for its impact on everyday citizens regardless of political party.

I miss extended family togetherness. I know there are a lot of negatives but I still miss it deeply. There is a way I had to learn how to navigate outside my immediate household that my children don’t get to do as much.
