There are better ways to increase revenue than just raising the GST, which would hurt those with the least far more.

Instead we could⤵️
✅ Apply GST to private school fees and private health insurance
✅Tax the gas industry properly

I must be getting old…when i was studying economics productivity boosting was the job of CEOs not governments…productivity come from better training, better internal processes, better equipment and R&D…last time i checked they were bosses problems not something ‘big government’ can fix…

Just re-upping this again because the Temu Trumps in the LNP insist on bringing every culture war here: the Morrison govt spent $20.8bn on consultants in its final year - the equivalent of 54,000 FT public servants. The private sector benefits with govt cuts. No one else.
