I know this has been said a thousand times but if those 3 dead children in Madison were 3 dead CEOs we’d be seeing a ripple effect in the form of reform right now. You have to either be a fetus or a CEO for conservative media to get up in arms about your death. The rest of us mean nothing.

This technique - the 5 sense one - is the only thing that pulls me out of a panic attack. It’s worked every time I’ve had the presence of mind to do it.
When Tim died so suddenly, I had flashbacks & thoughts spinning uncontrollably. Sometimes just saying 'I am Suzanne, and I am here in my living room' helped. Sometimes I needed more, and these grounding techniques helped.
