Not comparable, this is open on one size, so much more light and definitely air.

You will loose a room with a closet for a garage. Anyone with training in this stuff will tell you without drawing a single line.

The more you twist and stretch your the more certain we who see this are that this is not a good faith argument.

This is really *isn't* a good faith argument. The only common thing in these examples is that they are row houses of similar width. However, their length (thus overall size), their spacial priorities (like the bedroom-bathroom ratio) and the overall interior design differ markedly.
This comparison shows the price of putting an internal garage on a rowhouse

Both of these rowhomes are ~16' wide

Left: 2BR+Den/3BA
Right: 4BR/3.5BA

So the cost is losing TWO bedroom.

The @bloomberg.com story I mentioned in conversation with @wesmars.bsky.social:

"The opposition to traffic cameras is real — but it seems to come from politicians more than the general public. Beyond being effective, automatic cameras are remarkably popular."
Automated Traffic Enforcement Is More Popular Than You Think
Cameras that ticket drivers who run red lights and speed are effective and widely popular with city residents. So why are they banned in so many places?

Could someone please keep tabs on Disney World's visitor numbers? It will be interesting to follow, especially in light of these 👇 numbers. Thank you. bsky.app/profile/greg...
Wow. New NBC poll finds 78% support vaccines, including 72% of independents and 67% of Republicans.

As I keep trying to argue, Democrats should polarize the shit out of the vaccine/public health debate. Make people take sides. It will split Republicans and MAGA.

See this:
Trump/RFK are decapitating our public health system, a pillar of American greatness. So Dem Govs should scour every corner of the law for creative new ways to defend their people from this madness.

Dems should polarize this debate to the max.

Thoughts on this here:

My bad. Thank you for the correction!

This is a typical "but Sweden" article. The contents of the video only express aspiration and not the reality on the ground, which is patchy and, in the case of Stockholm, is frequently chaotic during snow falls.

Not sure I follow. Building up an entire street with high-rises takes more than 30 year. So does a tree that will provide adequately dense shade and large canopy.

We have trees for that. In fact, if tree and building height are similar, trees will also reduce your cooling costs.
On a day like today, I sure wish we had taller buildings around Chicago neighborhoods to cast shadows on the street
