Which is to say: I went to an engineering school where only STEM mattered, and the computer science guys who were absolutely desperate for girls' attention were *exactly* like him. No dignity, no beliefs, no ideas, just constantly debasing themselves to get the laugh.

I saw something today about how he was a computer science major in college, and several things fell into place for me.

Absolutely live in fear of it. There’s also pretty solid research in the last few years that the shingles VAX can help prevent or delay dementia. Sign me up!

You learn very quickly to teach it like this: the Bible is an amazing book and I’m so glad you love it, but it’s not the right material for this specific assignment. It’s no coincidence that the instructor in this news story was a grad student. They hadn’t gotten there yet.

I dealt with this exact same thing multiple times per year every single year from 2004 to 2022. I’m pretty sure the right when Christian kids get coached to do it.

It’s the same for my 4th and 5th grade kids. Schools act like it’s such a mystery that behavior issues are worse now. No fucking shit! Their childhoods were shaped by a worldwide trauma!

I totally get it. I think that a lot of his public acts of kindness and all of his public-facing fake feminism were intentionally designed to cover for what a piece of shit he was behind closed doors. People who loved him were used/victimized, too.
