Parents fled Cuba in 60s. Fast forward to Nov 6 2025, I booked a flight out Jan 8 even though there was cheaper one on 19th. Too close. If you try fighting in a dictatorship, they just kill you. No one should be shamed for not staying to "fight." Americans are facing the unprecedented for US.

Im not doing a goddamn fucking thing except helping people who need help. But in the event of a complete totalitarian takeover of my country’s government? Do not look for me on the front lines of shit. I am picking up my mom, telling her and her BPD to STFU for 5 hours, & flying out of here
