About 12 years ago, I was the lead plaintiff in a case against Santander for predatory auto loans, with a class of 600 MA residents. We won about 24 million in mostly debt relief. In 2020, the CFPB enforced a consent order against Santander for similar practices. The work is so critical.
Elon Musk is trying to shut down the CFPB, the agency that has forced big banks and corporations to return more than $21 BILLION to families they cheated.

a good part of me thinks that in addition to everything else, the reason they are scrubbing these stories is they do not want disadvantaged kids to believe they can aspire to anything other than their designated “black” or “hispanic” or “woman” job
