I don’t understand the logic of people who want democrats to win, but put more effort in haranguing anyone with criticisms of the party so they improve to get more votes.

Cause the current strategy is to let people suffer enough under republicans enough that Dems look better by comparison

At 43, after my insurance repeatedly denied requests for MRIs, a venous cavernoma burst in my left temporal lobe (like an aneurysm). I was in a coma for three days—doctors weren’t sure I’d wake up. When I did, I wasn’t the same. I was lucky to be alive, even luckier to be able to speak, and even more fortunate to speak correctly. A scar was left on my left temporal lobe, and now I live with epilepsy and behavioral changes. The biggest change? Now I’m always truthful, and a lot of people don’t appreciate 100% honesty in their answers, replies, and questions. If I’d had an MRI before all this, I wouldn’t spend six hours every few months in an MRI machine. My sister is now battling her insurance for an MRI, as she’s dealing with the same migraines. You’d think that after her sister dropping dead in the bathroom and miraculously coming back, they’d approve the MRI right away. But no—it’s like they’re just waiting to see if death can stick to one of us. I’ll be paying out of pocket for her MRI because I want her here next Christmas, without worrying that it could have been prevented. I’m a completely different person now, and not all of it is for the better. I left my husband and moved back home. The transition from who I was to who I am now has been an uphill battle since waking up. Sometimes, I wish I had died that day, and in a way, parts of me did. I lost 10% of my brain—the burst liquified it. I don’t panic anymore; the fight-or-flight response is just fight now. It’s wildly unhealthy, so I avoid people to keep from getting aggravated. Sometimes, I even have to stop myself from dragging them face-first across my front lawn.
