Hence the starfish tattooed on my inner arm. Hope is not gone, as long as we continue to look for all the little ways we can make a difference.
I understand the starfish parable is extremely cringe and maybe someone can write it better but unfortunately this mindset is the only one that can keep you from losing hope if you care in a system where you can't make a difference on the large scale, you have to believe helping one person matters
