After getting some rest, I am in awe of everyone who continues to lift their voice and speak out. This is a moment for our country, and we must make a choice about the America we want to be.

very true. (many people are saying, doing great work, for f'real)
It's nearly impossible to keep up with the dozens of legal challenges to Trump's early actions. But many have been led by the same group.

A closer look at Democracy Forward, the progressive legal group that keeps taking on Trump in the courts -- and winning. www.huffpost.com/entry/democr...
This Legal Group Keeps Suing Trump — And There's A Reason They Keep Winning
Democracy Forward has emerged as a leading legal organization that’s been slowing, if not stopping, some of Trump’s recklessness.

Buttigieg 2028?
I care deeply about who Michigan will elect as Governor and send to the U.S. Senate next year, but I have decided against competing in either race.

I wrote more here about my decision and how I view the work required of us all in this moment:
I'm Not Running in 2026, But I Am Getting to Work
We all have work to do in delivering a better kind of politics for America.

Trump’s “detention camps” are concentration camps and his “mass deportations” are ethnic cleansing. Stop using the language of the perpetrator and say it how it really is. Speak truth with your chest. #3E #EndAutogenocide #EndImpunity #EndOligarchy

Fun fact, at the USPS we're federally regulated, but not federally funded. We get no tax money, all of our operation costs and payroll for employees is from postage. So I get to work 6 days a week 12 hours a day because of Christmas, and get paid less than your average FedEx carrier

I see no plan here.
No framework.
No details.
And certainly no fight.
Are you serious with this?
Today, I released a framework detailing how the Democratic Party will fight against Trump’s war on working people.

Time to pull my cash from my probably-no-longer-FDIC-insured accounts?
The FDIC fired its probationary employees tonight. It's unclear just how many people are affected, but according to the DOGE website there were 513 agency employees with less than a year of experience. news.bloomberglaw.com/banking-law/...

Resist despair.

Greet the trans people you know extra warmly.

Exchange knowing, supportive glances with your local lesbians.

Spend some time with that kid who’s struggling.

Make that art.

Learn that skill.

Read that book.

Play that game.

Persistence is resistance.

I have a cross-country work trip Monday and I’m wondering at what point my employer will consider it acceptable for me to cancel or if I’m expected to risk my life for a work meeting

(rhetorical - I already know the answer to both questions)
The flying public needs answers. How many FAA personnel were just fired? What positions? And why?

I’ll close with some wisdom from Lord of the Rings. “I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
