Το Ανώτατο Δικαστήριο του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου πρόκειται να αποφανθεί σχετικά με το αν ο νομικός ορισμός της έννοιας «γυναίκα» συμπεριλαμβάνει ή όχι τις τρανς γυναίκες.

Η επικαιρότητα έδωσε κι αυτή την εβδομάδα πολλές ευκαιρίες στα ελληνικά ΜΜΕ να ασχοληθούν με τα ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ ζητήματα.

Σύμφωνα με έρευνα που διενήργησε το Ινστιτούτο Εργασίας της ΓΣΕΕ σε συνεργασία με την εταιρεία Alco, 6 στους 10 εργαζόμενους του ιδιωτικού τομέα δηλώνουν πως ο μισθός τους δεν επαρκεί για την κάλυψη των μηνιαίων εξόδων, ενώ σχεδόν 9 στους 10 έχει αναγκαστεί να μειώσει τις δαπάνες του σε βασιικά είδη διατροφής προκειμένου να ανταπεξέλθει. __Alexandros Michailidis / SOOC The Press Project 18 Μαρτίου 2025 | 16:14:51 Μοιράσου το __ * __Facebook * __Twitter * __LinkedIn * __Reddit Συγκεκριμένα, μόνο το 40% των ερωτηθέντων δηλώνει ότι ο μηνιαίος μισθός του επαρκεί για την κάλυψη των μηνιαίων εξόδων και το 88% δηλώνει ότι έχει μειώσει τις δαπάνες του σε βασικά είδη διατροφής προκειμένου να ανταπεξέλθει. Επιπλέον, 7 στους 10 εργαζομένους (71% των ερωτηθέντων) δηλώνει ότι είτε χρησιμοποιεί μέρος των αποταμιεύσεων του (34%), είτε ότι δεν διαθέτει καθόλου αποταμιεύσεις (37%), για να αντιμετωπίσει τα έξοδα του μήνα. Σχεδόν 6 στους 10 εργαζόμενους (58%) που ενοικιάζουν κατοικία, ξοδεύουν πάνω από το 40% του μηνιαίου εισοδήματός του σε δαπάνες ενοικίου, και θέρμανσης. Την ίδια ώρα σχεδόν 1 στους 2 εργαζομένους με ιδιόκτητη κατοικία ξοδεύει πάνω από το 20% του μηνιαίου εισοδήματός του για αποπληρωμή στεγαστικών δανείων και θέρμανση. Ακόμα σημειώνεται πως περίπου 6 στους 10 δεν είδαν αύξηση μισθού το 2024, αφού μόλις το 43% των εργαζομένων δηλώνει ότι έλαβε αύξηση το 2024, ποσοστό που σε σημαντικό βαθμό συμπίπτει με το ποσοστό των εργαζομένων που αμείβονται με τον κατώτατο μισθό. Αντίθετα, το 57% δηλώνει ότι δεν είχε καμιά αύξηση στο ύψος του μισθού του. Μάλιστα, το 52% εκτιμά πως δεν θα λάβει αύξηση μισθού το επόμενο εξάμηνο, ενώ μόλις το 22% αναμένει αυξήσεις. Στα στοιχεία αναφέρεται πως το 40% δηλώνει ότι εργάζεται πέρα του προβλεπόμενου χρόνου εργασίας και μάλιστα το 43% υπερβαίνει τις τέσσερις ώρες σε εβδομαδιαία βάση, αλλά περίπου 1 στους 3 εργαζομένους (36%) δηλώνει ότι δεν αμείβεται για τις πρόσθετες ώρες εργασίας του. Το 86% των εργαζομένων υποστηρίζουν την καθολική κάλυψη όλων των εργαζομένων και την υποχρεωτική ισχύ για όλες τις επιχειρήσεις των συλλογικών συμβάσεων εργασίας και το 83% θεωρεί ότι οι συλλογικές συμβάσεις αποτελούν σημαντικό παράγοντα προστασίας των εργαζόμενων και επίτευξης ισότιμων συνθηκών εργασίας. Ωστόσο, μόλις το 29% δηλώνει ότι καλύπτεται από κάποια συλλογική σύμβασηεργασίας. Η ΓΣΕΕ τονίζει πως η έρευνα επιβεβαιώνει ξανά την υψηλή εμπιστοσύνη των εργαζομένων στον θεσμικό ρόλο των συλλογικών συμβάσεων και των συλλογικών διαπραγματεύσεων. Ωστόσο, όπως προσθέτει, καθίσταται επίσης σαφές ότι τόσο το εισόδημα, όσο και τα ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά της μισθωτής εργασίας συνεχίζουν να υφίστανται σημαντικές πιέσεις, με τους εργαζόμενους να αποκομίζουν ελάχιστα από τα οφέλη της όποιας οικονομικής ανάπτυξης. Scenes of extreme police brutality unfolded once again in central Athens, following a protest organised on 5 March by labour unions over the Tempe railway disaster. Riot police (MAT) indiscriminately detained and threatened individuals with arrest, attacked protesters with tear gas and batons, and even ran over a demonstrator with a motorcycle. He claimed that “police officers successfully guaranteed the safety of hundreds of thousands of demonstrators.” Chrysochoidis alleged that “criminal gangs” linked to football hooliganism had infiltrated the protests and instigated attacks against police officers and Parliament. He dismissed opposition claims that undercover officers had incited violence, calling such accusations “shameful.” He also **accused protesters of spreading misinformation** , including using old or foreign videos to falsely portray Greek police brutality. > “Why would the police provoke violence?
