When you load a morrowind save from months ago and have to figure out why you're at a shrine surrounded by dead bodies.

I used to be so cool, I don't know what happened.

I've not recently felt quite so old, poor, and helpless as going into a subway (food) and seeing footlongs for $20.

Investigation show where the duo is replaced by one person. I've never seen this done. Audience accepts that it's one person, but it cuts between two or more... imagine in the car, like true detective. It's not observed by folks in the world. But you get the trope and get to drool over one actor.

Pickled eggs I jarred last Friday are coming along really nicely; Lao Gan Ma ones are the best, but the garlic ones are great too. Lemon pepper might take another week or two to really shine, we'll see.

This feels so performative and I hate that, but to trans folks who rightfully are scared shitless, I'm politically and kinetically active. Let me know if there's anything I can do. I can, will, and am fighting.

Something I've never seen in a ttrpg book, but think it would be cool. Bind the pages to a rail, hardcover can slide off the rail and become a GM screen. Also flash memory is dummy cheap now. Including a microsd with the book that has a pdf of the book and also generators and other tools would rule.

Me at the opera house in San Francisco in the 90s. Real Baratheon vibes here. I miss having long hair! Working on it, but the in-between stage is rough. Using lots of oil to keep it in check.

@nohr.se said this was a good idea to post

Thought once about someone whose superpower is they know everything that's known (by humans?). So not omniscient? I wonder what a story following such a person would look like. And if they actually gave a fuck and wanted to do good. Idk if I've seen this in comics or ttrpgs. Certainly alters scope.

Saw this map recently and thought "might make for the start of a good cyberpunk map". I also like the idea that the borders here don't need to be adjusted to fit the coast; the megacites of circa 2XXX extend as a tight swarm of houseboats connected by walkways, sometimes for hundreds of miles.

I just wanna think about castles and friendship and food and sunrises over the mountains while drinking coffee. I'm so damn tired.

arduous character creation
arguments about esoteric topics
gratuitous disregard for ethics
Name 3 reasons folks may dislike your fave ttrpg:

Lancer

1) incredibly gamey and war as a sport

2) builds, builds, builds, it's all about builds

3) there is a hard disconnect between controlling the pilot and controlling the mech
Name 3 reasons folks may dislike your fave TTRPG:

Pokemon Tabletop united

1) Everyone gets a character sheet! *insert Oprah meme here*

2) it's possible to play on paper, but your gonna want to use the excel sheet (yes the spread sheet but man its a godsend)

3) initiatives can change each round

ttrpg that's written on loose pages, numbered but distributed separately. most who play don't have the full book. some pages are more common than others.

Still alive, just exhausted. Working on this little town today felt very healing.

Didn't get much writing done today, but I did poke around in the Tiny Glade demo. 😊

Cyberpunk horror idea: to test a skill, convert character portrait to .txt, sum the letter values in the skill being used, multiply sum by number of tests that have been made so far, scroll to that line in the txt and delete it. Effect this has on image is used to determine effects on the character.

Boyfriend brought me some of this Maui BBQ curry spice back from his Hawaii trip, and it's amazing on eggs.
