I feel the same way. I can’t afford to NOT be informed, but I take breaks for sanity. A clear mind and clear spirit are important tools in this resistance. One human can only do so much in 24 hours with such an obscene, surreal flood of 💩.

I'm baffled as to why hundreds of otherwise sensible, intelligent people at UN meeting yesterday sat for an hour listening to Trump's idiotic ramblings without stopping him (he went 45 minutes over time!) or walking out. Why is everyone in thrall to him? and still acting amazed at his behaviour?

The arrest of a judge is another big step on the way to authoritarian rule. Protests and demonstrations are clearly not working. Maybe it's not too late for a General Strike? It would need to be immediate though, nation wide, and potentially indefinite.

Unless massive numbers of people in US get out on the streets right now in protest, or a General Strike, it's going to be too late. The window for action is closing quickly. Protest will be illegal, and protesters fired on or arrested.
