Homeless workers now have to submit *proof of employment* to be allowed to sleep in their cars in one of the richest counties in the U.S.

Welcome to America: people shivering overnight in subzero temperatures, steps from luxury ski resorts, for the privilege of keeping the local economy booming.
In One Colorado Town, People Experiencing Homelessness Can Sleep in Their Car — if They Have a Job

there is simply no amount of child death that will move RFK to change his mind because he is a predatory narcissist who cares less about health than the gratification of his own ego
Astonishing RFK Jr interview with NBC. At 23.30 he claims pharmaceuticals are the 3rd leading cause of death in the US [wtf]. He discloses the name & medical history of the 2nd child to die of measles, implies she wasn't healthy & argues about her cause of death. @gorskon.bsky.social
Key takeaways from RFK Jr.'s interview on measles vaccine, food dyes, weight loss drugs and more
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke with CBS News in an exclusive interview. Here are some highlights.

Per Dr Atul Gawande, ex USAID: “All malaria supplies protecting 53 million people, mostly children, including bed nets, diagnostics, preventive drugs, and treatments – terminated.”

There are no words that sufficiently describe this level of cruelty and sadism.

The attack on DEI shows why liberals should stop arguing about "strategic" use of language forever. DEI stands for three uncontroversial virtues that most every American accepts, and the right still turned it into a vile slur. It doesn't matter what you say - they will poison it because YOU said it.

Talking with hard science colleagues at UT who have NIH and NSF grants which are now in limbo & have to fire graduate students. They said five decades of practices of scientific inquiry thrown out the window. The uncertainty upends how we will live. Crown jewels of higher education being destroyed.

i hope more than anything what people learn from this 2nd trump term is that the capitalist class are aligned and they want you to have less rights and only want you to exist to generate profit for them

Zelensky found out what it was like to be a US governor in a blue state asking Trump for medical supplies during the pandemic. Or disaster relief after a wildfire or storm. It’s not his money, but he fully expects you to beg and plead for it and tell him how wonderful he is.

If you are a liberal in deep blue territory, one thing you could try doing right now is figuring out how to replace your Democratic member of Congress next year. With very few exceptions, the typical safe seat Dem is not meeting the moment. Find someone who will and help them.

Today, in a meeting at the White House, the only person actually defending American interests was Zelenskyy.

Let that sink in.

this encapsulates what all of this administration is about. they aren’t “accidentally” destroying departments. they are intentionally destroying the government so they can become the government. the only issue they have with the system is they don’t profit from it or control it

I think it should be made clear at this point: If you're a federal employee, you should consider your work devices bugged. If you've logged into personal stuff on those devices, you should consider suspending or deleting the accounts you accessed.

On changes to #NIH indirect rates, there is a law in place that prohibits NIH from making such changes without the approval of Congress. See Division D, Title II Section 224 of The Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (Public Law No: 118-47) grants.nih.gov/grants/guide...

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.
