Two Republican senators told me tonight this vote shows they can execute the same strategy again — cut Democrats out of the negotiations on a gov’t funding bill, pass it thru the House, and expect Senate Dems to back down and not filibuster it.

Just want to point out that Republicans put together a budget with no input from Dems knowing that they needed their votes to get it passed. They believe fear of a shutdown is enough to force Dems to pass it. To be clear, I don't give a damn if the government shuts down. Every Dem needs to vote no.
