Highlight of my dragon con weekend: seeing friends I only see at dragon con. Also getting to chat with @maryrobinettekowal.com about cats at the book signing. I can’t wait to be at home with my cantankerous (affectionate) old man cat and try out the container carry trick for my arthritic old man.

Between WSFS and MWA I think we can reliably say that if you're an organization dependent in one form or another on the goodwill of a professional class with deep and existential concerns about "AI," maybe just don't fucking use "AI" for anything you do, even if it would be "cool" or "time saving."

It is critical that, if you are a US citizen, you check your voter registration every so often. I check mine every two weeks in the lead-up to an election, because the GOP is very sneaky about removing people with little fanfare.
